The building of sustainable homes is important to the community and environment they effect.
Our customers are able to include sustainable building practices when building an extension or converting a space.
The available options for a more "eco" friendly build will depend on an individual requirement but some "no brainers"
are to use timber frame construction instead of producing concrete blocks and cement.
Reduce the use of steel by using box beams and other methods
INSULATE - then insulate some more
Double glazing - Loft insulation - Wall insulation - Floor insulation
Energy efficient boilers and/or renewable energy sources such as wind or solar
Rain water butts are easy to install don't break and save water
Solar panels provide hot water all year round
We can supply and install Thermo Dynamic hot water and heating systems. These systems use a refrigerant (typically) R134A to transfer heat energy from the roof into the home. This saves money and is the cheapest way to provide hot water.
